The Hasselblad 500ELM is a modular 6x6 medium-format SLR camera system. Unlike the original 500C the 500ELM is battery dependent. It has a battery unit built into the camera base that drives the cameras functionality and automatically advances film after an exposure is made. It is otherwise compatible with all Hasselblad 500-series equipment such as lenses, finders, film backs and focusing screens.
This is the special "10 Years On The Moon" edition of the 500EL/M released in 1979 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Moon landing. Only 1500 cameras were produced in this special set.
This kit includes:
- Hasselblad 500EL/M "10 Years On The Moon" camera body (serial number UR1312942)
- Carl Zeiss 80mm f2.8 T* Planar lens (serial number 6126227)
- Hasselblad A12 film back (serial number UR3132897)
- Hasselblad 10 Years On The Moon commemorative coin
- 9v battery adapter
Both the lens and A12 film back have been fully refurbished and are in top functional condition. The 500EL/M body has been tested and found in good working order.
